NEGRE BOTA

70% Mantonegro, 30% Merlot

This wine is made primarily from grapes sourced from the oldest Mantonegro vines, planted in 1961 by the family’s grandfather. It is an elegant, fruity, and deep wine, with mineral undertones contributed by our vineyard, located on predominantly calcareous soils.

Hand-harvested in 15 kg crates. The grapes are carefully selected cluster by cluster from the oldest vines of the native Mantonegro variety, a grape with great aromatic potential that produces warm, fruit-forward wines. At the sorting table, the darkest grapes are selected. The wine is then blended with a portion of Merlot from younger vines, which adds greater structure.
